Effective direct and indirect job lighting is needed in the operating room environment in addition to good ambient lighting. The flexibility to vary various OT lights conditions and levels makes it possible for room staff to work more efficiently.   4. The diameter of the light field at 50%:Size of the light field at which illumination equals 50% of the centre illumination.
  5. Light field diameter (10%): Size of the light field at which 10% of the centerluminance is illuminated.
  6. Index of colour rendition: The sum of nine measurements of each visible hue that make up the light's colour spectrum.
  7. Color temperature: A surgical team can control the light's perceived coolness or warmth and certain LED lights allow for colour temperature adjustment, allowing them to manage the light's properties and facilitating tissue distinction.
  8. Radiant power (in Watts):Any person in the radiation field will experience heat as a result of the light source's infrared radiation.This may make it uncomfortable for everyone involved in the surgery, including the patient and the physician.Additionally, especially during lengthy treatments, it may hinder the procedure by causing the wound tissue to dry up.
